WHAT WE ARE !
Space Intelligence Agency (S.I.A.) prides themselves on not being a conventional architecture and urban research and design office.
S.I.A. has been researching current spatial trends and predicting how they can manifest in our built environment if they continue to persist.
S.I.A. builds on existing statistical analysis, to present future urban scenarios that are hypothetical but not impossible. The strategy, research and design accomplished by Space Intelligence Agency maneuvers between reality and fantasy, science and fiction, current facts and future trends.
S.I.A. thus functions as an experimental coevally practical studio where different disciplines, such as architecture, urban planning, future science, philosophy, design and art meet.
S.I.A. feels that future science and design can and should have a place in the debates that shape spatial, cultural and political policies. The research interests of S.I.A. are broad, reflecting the wide range of research interests, skills and experience of the two principals of the agency and its research partners. While the research agenda will change over time as new issues emerge, projects embrace topics such as ‘Future Thought & Life Style’, ‘City Modeling & Spatial Scenario Making’ and ‘High Density Living’. Each topic provides a clear focus for the research effort of S.I.A. and its external public and private Partners.
WHAT WE DO !
Space Intelligence Agency (S.I.A.) stimulates and simulates possible future urban developments.
S.I.A. develops and designs clear and original concepts for future urban environments.
S.I.A. aims to sketch alternative routes into the urban and architectural future of human society by future spatial scenario making.
S.I.A. consults municipalities and other urban development companies at preliminary design stages to help them make better, more informed decisions about the future.
WHAT YOU GET !
We provide global and local foresight to create insights that can lead to action. We take an explicitly global approach to strategic planning, linking macro trends to local issues in such areas as life style, city life programming, architecture and urbanism.
